CORONATION Street is bringing back one of its local celebrities as Matt Milburn puts his football boots back on to play Tommy Orpington.

Who is Matt Milburn?
Matt is best known for playing student Joe Spencer in Hollyoaks from 2003 to 2006 when his cheeky character was killed in a fire at the Dog In The Pond.
His brother is fellow Hollyoaks star Greg Wood, who is best known for his role as bad-boy Trevor Royle.
In 2011, Matt joined the cast of Emmerdale as vet Nicky Pritchard and he has also starred in Heartbeat on Tour.
After his guest role on Coronation Street, Matt showed up in Doctors as Leon D'Costa and starred in 2016's short film The Locke Inn.

In 2016, Matt made his debut as Weatherfield County footballer Tommy Orpington.
The local star hired Michelle Connor as his wedding planner but things go awry when Michelle's then-husband Steve fawns over him at the pub.
Tommy caused mass hysteria on the street but tensions arose when Steve was left fighting for his attention with Tim Metcalfe that led to a kickaround potentially ending the footballer's career.
The soap teased his return when the actor appeared in full kit in a behind-the-scenes filming photo which was posted on Twitter.
