Helen Skelton shows off her incredible body as she reveals she no longer counts calories

TV presenter Helen Skelton has revealed she no longer counts calories like she did in her twenties.

The 33-year-old opened up about her new laid-back attitude towards food - particularly carbs - since moving to France with her rugby player husband Richie.

Showing off her incredible figure as she graces the cover of Fit & Well magazine, she said: “I spent most of my twenties watching my weight and I don’t want to live my life by numbers now.

“I don’t think you ever walk out in a dress and think, ‘I feel amazing because I weigh 9st’. You either feel good or you don’t.”

Helen  - who became a household names thanks to her impressive coverage of the Olympics – also shares her secrets to staying fit and motivated.

The former Blue Peter presenter is famous for taking on extreme challenges, including running an 80-mile Ultra Marathon in the Namibian Dessert.

She said: “Before I started training, I couldn’t run for 10 minutes. I trained for three months and my coach took me from zero [miles] to 80 in three months.

“It took a lot of effort but if I can do it, anyone can!”

These days Helen focuses on fitting in shorter bursts of activity like Hiit and yoga while caring for her young son Ernie.

“I do it when Ernie wakes up at all sorts of hours’ And Ernie is already joining in ‘We call him Yogi Baby – he gets into a Downward Dog and shakes a leg – it’s so cute!” she revealed.
